Following on from our previous successful musical productions for Studio 100 (check more here and here), we were once again honoured to produce the principal moving décor pieces for the musical 14-18. A life-size tank and electric old-timers are true eyecatchers in this all-star show.

Tearing it down

Based on scale models provided by Studio 100, we built war-like decors on moving platforms made by Wicreations. We needed to recreate houses that had been bombarded and weathered by war, a skillset mastered by our painting team.

An Elon Musk-worthy tank

This could possibly be every engineers dream: to build a 1:1 model of a tank used in the First World War. We produced an exact copy of the German A7V-U tank and made it electric, so you could call it an e-tank. All honours go to our in-house teams who drew up the plans and executed the model to great perfection.

But that’s not all, we also converted two other old-timers, an antique Ford T from the same era and truck to electrical variants. A detailed job fit for our technical team.
