Saudi Arabia celebrated its Expo 2020 Dubai National Day on Friday the 7^th of January 2022 with an array of events across the World Expo site that included a military-led parade and a stunning projection of the Saudi Cultural Show film at Al Wasl Plaza, with fireworks and concerts to come throughout the evening.

At the very last moment Fisheye was commissioned by Filmmaster MEA to add more magic to this already impressive performance by adding a 7m wide palm tree scenery item. Filmmaster Group is a dynamic and creative agency with Italian flair and world-class experience since 1976, with multiple offices in the UK, Middle East and Africa.

Fisheye is known to make the impossible happen. Taking on a big project in such a short notice is not something we do very often, but when the stakes are high, our team is ready to rock ánd roll. After receiving a phonecall where this last minute show addition was presented to us we immediately shifted gears and got to work.

From idea to budget to CNC cutting, welding, painting, shaping and assembling, our workshops were filled with excitement in the last few days of 2021. After that we prepared logistics and sent a 4-person crew to Dubai to ensure a safe and high quality finishing, rigging and installation. Another happy client, another unforgettable experience!
