The Great Library of Tomorrow
Tomorrowland
We all know some impressive libraries across the world, but what if we told you there is one that measures 62 meters right here in Belgium? Tomorrowland trusted us yet again for the engineering and production of a new stage for this year’s festival, and what a stage! The Great Library of Tomorrow is monumental not only in size but also in ambition.

Epic proportions
The history of the “Library” stage goes back to 2012 when it was first erected at the festival as a fantastical bookshelf of a giant storybook. For Tomorrowland’s 15th anniversary in 2019, the design evolved with giant books and moving parts. This year’s design is just as spectacular with epic proportions: 25 meters high, 62 meters wide. The stage is a sight to see from miles away, towering above the grounds.
We also produced the entrance to the Versuz Comfort Deck in the same look and feel of the stage.

It's in the details
More than one year of preparations have gone into making this a reality. From preparing technical drawings to logistics to carefully testing the décor pieces’ stability, it has been quite a ride. Our skilful painters have covered over 80 cubic meters of decor to complete the marble and ancient library feel.
At night, the stage lights up with integrated LED design. We used 527 meters of custom data LED lighting that was produced just for us and 416 custom LED fixtures that bring the stage to life at night.
