"The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" is an upcoming superhero TV series based on Marvel's comic characters Falcon & Winter Soldier. It's produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by streaming service Disney+.

The series is a sequel of the widely popular movie "Avengers: Endgame" and when asked upon creating a physical eyecatcher the choice was made to recreate the well known Captain America shield.

We’re known to be a multidisciplinary production company helping brands and agencies create unforgettable experiences, and this one was another great combination of our different skillsets. Our designers went to work preparing technical drawings for our workshop wizards. We used our state of the art CNC tube laser to create the steel baseframe while our 5-axis CNC machine shaped the styrofoam parts.

After a thorough sanding process we got to work painting and wrapping all assembled parts. Finally we compiled the centre star with LED strips for the result to be even more spectacular, powered by a custom outdoor battery pack. The final result was installed in front of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp (BE) and another derivate in front of the central train station in Leiden (NL).
