NOS, one of the Netherlands' leading television channels, wanted to refresh their main news studio setup, adding colourful and high-tech items.

In the briefing and concept meetings we were asked to design a highly usable studio setup with a slight futuristic look.

As a multidisciplinary creative studio Fisheye has the skills and tools to manage an elaborate project like this one all under one roof. Concept, design, production ánd installation of all components was handled by Team Fisheye. No need for outsourcing or different companies matching schedules and sharing technical drawings. Fisheye is the "one stop shop" for a production process from A to Z, including lights, tech, screens and video.

Another important aspect of this studio is the fact that every piece of furniture, decoration and even walls can be moved. In order to allow different studio setups we created a system in which all singular metal frames can be lifted with air cushions and an internal air compressor system. On top of that we also custom developed software that allows the NOS crew to control a wide video canvas of up to 8 times full HD resolution.
