When the Dutch public broadcast NOS approached us for a studio makeover, we knew our diverse skill set would be a perfect fit for the job. The project was an opportunity to showcase our team’s full potential and dedication to excellence.
The television world is one in which a broad view on current affairs is crucial, which is why we designed and produced the new décor from a circular perspective. The studio for the NOS TV programmes NOS Journaal, NIeuwsuur and NOS Jeugdjournaal were transformed into a round set with cameras that visualise the broadcasts from 360 degrees.
The studio is equipped with the latest video and projection technology and a custom floor with integrated LED. The main advantage of this new layout is that everything happens from a single set, but each programme can still retain its own character thanks to multipurpose screens and movable LED pillars.
In addition to the impressive screens, we also designed two new anchor desks in the same design language. Lights, camera, action!
