Arne Quinze approached Fisheye for the light design of his latest installation ‘Oasis’ in Noor Riyadh, an annual light and art festival in the capital of Saudia Arabia.

Fisheye teamed up with Arne Quinze for his latest installation

The Belgian artist created a massive installation in the middle of the Riyadh desert, creating life in a place where this seemingly isn’t possible. A place of extremes which required an intense collaboration between Fisheye and Arne in both the light design phase of the project and the installation on site. Oasis is a feast for your eyes as it is, but really comes to life at night.

LIGHT DESIGN

It needed the right expertise from our video content team to create a fitting light design, a vision which was then translated into reality by our technical team.

No more than 47.000 leds were used to illuminate the giant sculpture. The leds, which needed to withstand extreme temperatures, were custom designed in our workshop and installed on site by our team.
