Blending in for Louis Vuitton
La Mode en Images
Working for La Mode En Images for Louis Vuitton’s Women’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris, Fisheye was brought in to realise the large-scale opening section of scenography that had to merge flawlessly with the existing set.
At 24 meters wide and 6 meters high, the structure needed to feel like it had always been there. But behind the organic, moss-like surface, a completely new system had to be engineered—one that met strict fire-retardant requirements without compromising the visual softness of the design.
Strong backbone
A steel construction designed by our engineers formed the backbone of the installation. On top of this, a landscape of wooden polygonal shapes was created—each one carefully positioned to mimic the irregular rhythm of natural growth. These were then layered with glass wool and finished with green flock.
Alongside the green textures, we introduced black Dibond panels, adding contrast and depth while remaining fully embedded in the visual language of the show.
Matchmakers
Achieving a perfect visual match required close attention and craftsmanship. Our expert shapers dedicated significant time to finetuning the colour and texture, ensuring continuity with the pre-existing decor.
All of this was realised in just two weeks, including 10 intense days of on-site construction at the Cour Carré of the Louvre in Paris.
